El Shaddai,
how beautiful you are in all the earth!
Your glory shines in the heavens.
Little children give witness to your greatness
and your adversary is silenced.
When I gaze in awe at the vast heavens you made,
the moon and the stars which are the work of your fingers –
what are women that you are mindful of them,
or their daughters, that you visit them?
Yet you have made women in your image,
and crowned them with glory and honour.
You have given them dominion over the works of your hands;
you have put all things in their keeping and care, all sheep and cattle,
and the wild beasts of the field and forest,
the birds of the air, and the creatures of the sea,
El Shaddai,
how beautiful is your name in all the earth!
